Replacing the timing belt in a 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass involves several steps. First, you need to disconnect the battery and remove any components obstructing access to the timing cover, such as the serpentine belt and crankshaft pulley. Once the timing cover is exposed, align the timing marks, remove the old belt, and install the new one, ensuring proper tension. Finally, reassemble everything in reverse order, double-checking all alignments before reconnecting the battery.
Did you check the fuse? Anyway, it's impossible to answer your question. Re-ask and be very descriptive about what the signals will and won't do.

Not knowing what engine you have in your Olds, most engines will have the "Mapping" of the belt located somewhere under the hood. On my two Olds, they are located on the valve cover. When you purchase a new belt for your car the cardboard holder for the belt will display several diagrams based upon the engine that the belt will fit..... you out.

The seat belt light will stay on in a 1989 Delta Olds if the belt is not properly buckled or it is not detected by the sensor. Forcefully locking the belt into place or checking for a blown fuse can also correct this problem.
