The same way you do for simple algebra. The complication on each side don't change the rules; you are still doing algebra.

If someone has algebraic sense it means that they are adept at doing algebra. Algebra is the unifying thread of all of mathematics.
THIS IS THE ALGEBRA SECTION. If you are doing them online, there should be answers available. Or the next day after they are released in the papers. I'm not sure though.
Unless you're doing an algebra problem, that sounds right to me.
Of course 7th graders should learn about propaganda and how they can be tricked into buying things or doing things they should not. They are bombarded by it on a daily basis. Tell them about political propaganda and deceit too.
yes because they are awesome

It's not impossible.... if you do know what you are doing.
No. Pre-Algebra is taught to provide the ability to do certain mathematical equations before doing the more challenging math of Algebra I.

An equality.

In algebra z is a variable. What z equals would depend on the math problem you're doing and what the answer to that problem is.
I recommend that you take the Pre-Algebra before taking Algebra I. Taking the Pre-Algebra has a strong potential of helping you understand Algebra I much more easily and much better. A strong background and understanding of Algebra can be the basis for doing very well in later math courses.

6 yr olds should get around 20 minutes, 6 graders get around 1 hour
