Analytical Geometry/ Cartesian Coordinates (Rene DesCARTES invented them)
It started off as a study of triangles and is a study of straight lines and angles, as well as relationships between them.
It is the study of shape and distance. Usually you begin with points, lines and areas.
Spherical geometry is characterized by the study of figures on the surface of a sphere, where the usual rules of Euclidean geometry do not apply. In this geometry, the shortest distance between two points is an arc of a great circle, and the sum of the angles in a triangle exceeds 180 degrees. Additionally, parallel lines do not exist, as any two great circles will intersect at two points. Distances and angles are measured differently than in flat geometry, leading to unique properties and relationships.
Geometry.
It is geometry.
It is called coordinated geometry which is plotted on the Cartesian plane.

Geometry is all about the study of angles, lines, planes, and shapes
Because trigonometry is concerned with the lines (their lengths) and angles between lines. The latter requires knowledge about their direction.
because angles are easy
