a * b = 169

a + b = 7

a = 7 - b

(7 - b) * b = 169

-b^2 + 7b - 169 = 0

Then you just plug those coefficients into the quadratic formula and solve for b, then plug that solution into an equation for a. I can tell you though, that they're going to be negative, and they're not going to be integers.
