In tchoukball, you score a point by throwing the ball at one of the two rebound frames, ensuring that it bounces off and lands within the designated scoring area on the floor, which is a semi-circle marked in front of the frame. The throw must be made from outside this semi-circle, and the opposing team must not intercept the ball before it hits the frame. If the throw is successful and the ball lands in the scoring area without being touched by the defending team, a point is awarded.

there are 5x 5 = 25 possible combinations; only 1-1, 1-2, and 2-1 are 3 or less; eliminate those 3: 25-3 = 22 ways greater than 3
1 + 5 5 + 1 2 + 4 4 + 2 3 + 3 5 ways
1 + 4 = 5 4 + 1 = 5 5 + 5 = 10 So that is 3 ways.

Great question to think about ! Seems to me that if the expansion of glass were greater than the expansion of mercury, then you could easily make thermometers. But when you calibrated them, they would turn out different from what we have now, because the warmer temperatures would be marked lower on the glass, and the cooler temperatures would be marked higher on the glass.
