They are the apothem and side length of a nonagon. So what exactly is the question?
First you must determin what the "apothem" is, and by that i mean what the hell that word means.
an octagon doesn't have a volume its has and area ecause it is a 2-d figure. to find the area of a 2-d regular figure it is 1/2 apothem * perimeter (apothem is the distance of a line from the center of a polygon, to the midpoint of a side)
Area of a regular polygon = 1/2(apothem)(perimeter) 2025 = 1/2(25)(perimeter), so the perimeter = 2025 divided by 25/2. Perimeter = 162 Side length = 162/9 Side length = 18
v=lxwxhlenght x width x height its actually Bxh where the base is the apothem x perimeter/2(apothem x peremiter/2)xhhaha pwnedThis is pure bullsh*t
They are the apothem and side length of a nonagon. So what exactly is the question?
A regular nonagon with a side length of 9 has an apothem of 12.4 not 16. So the question is inconsistent.
First you must determin what the "apothem" is, and by that i mean what the hell that word means.
The apothem and side length are not consistent. That is, a nonagon with an apothem of 5.6 cm cannot have a side length of 4.1 cm.If the apothem is 5.6 cm then area = 102.7 cm2 whileif the side length is 4.1 cm then area = 103.9 cm2.The two answers agree at the tens place and so the most accurate answer is 100 cm2 to the nearest 10.

In general you would need to select a vertex of the nonagon and join it to the other vertices (except the two adjacent ones). This will divide the nonangon into 7 triangles. Measure the sides and/or angles of these triangles and calculate their areas. Add these together to get the area of the nonagon. If the nonagon is regular then there are formulae to calculate its area. These depend on whether you know the side length, apothem or circumradius.
Area of a regular polygon = 1/2(apothem)(perimeter) 2025 = 1/2(25)(perimeter), so the perimeter = 2025 divided by 25/2. Perimeter = 162 Side length = 162/9 Side length = 18

The formula for finding an apothem is s = 1/2 aP. S is the area, a is the apothem, and P is the perimeter.
Volume is Area of the Base times the Height of the Prism. To find the area of a Regular Pentagon, you use the formula (1/2)*Perimeter*Length of Apothem.

V = (1/3) (area of the base) (height) Area of a pentagon = 1/2 x apothem length x 5 x length of a side of the pentagonthe apothem is the perpendicular distance from the center of the pentagon to the side of the pentagon
