One half and four fifths can't be written as improper fractions.
There are infinite amounts of fractions that can be put as one and one half, as there are an infinite amount of numbers that can be put into a ratio of 3/2, which is 1 and one half. Here is a list of some improper fractions equaling one and one half: 3/2 6/4 9/6 12/8 15/10 30/20 150/100
Only in the way they are written. For example, 5/2 is an improper fraction; 2 1/2 (two and one-half) is the same number written as a mixed number.
7/14, 4/8, 3/6
i only know 1 which is 9/2
no
9/2 18/4 36/8 These are all improper fractions equal to 4 and one half. The important thing to realize is that 4 and one half is 9/2. Thank about it, 2 goes into 9 four times, with 1/2 left over. Then, all i did to the 9/2 was multiply it by (2/2) twice. This will allow it to keep the same ratio, and allow it to be a different improper fraction, even though they are all equal.

To divide by one half is mathematically equivalent to multiplying by two. Hence, 4 over one half is 8. If you want that in the form of an improper fraction, you could have 16/2 for example, or 24/3, etc.

Those are two different ways to represent the same numbers (fractional numbers equal to, or greater than, one). For example, 1 1/2 (one and a half) is the same as 3/2.

Fractions are generally thought of as quantities less than one. If a fraction is equal to or greater than one, it is either a mixed fraction, such as 3 1/2 (three and one half), or an improper fraction, such as 3/2 (three halves) or 5/3 (five thirds). The student should learn how to convert quickly from mixed fractions to improper fractions and vice versa.
