8+6+(-3) =14+(-3) =11
3 I think the question is not 8 plus minus five, i think its 8 plus negative 5, which would still be three. ie. 8+(-5)=3 or 8+-5=3. the proper way to write 8 plus negative five is my first example
8 minus negative three or 8--3 equal positive 11. The double negative converts the minus sign into a plus sign and the negative into a positive.
positive 3
it equals negative 1/8
-8
8+(-12)+(-3) simplifies to 8-12-3 which simplifies to 8-15 which simplifies to -7.
Negative eight (-8) plus negative three (-3) is equal to negative eleven (-11). It is the same as -8 - 3.
-11
-8
8+6+(-3) =14+(-3) =11
(-5) + (-3) = -8
It is: 11+(-8) = 3
if its a positive plus a negative (ie. 8+ -3) you can substitute the plus, negative(ie. 8+ -3)(+ -) for a subtraction sign (ie. 8-3) and you will come up with the same answer

4
3 - (-5) + 8(-4) = 8 + (-32) = -24
