a variable changes a rule doesnt.
That's how "function" is defined. If you have two points with the same x-coordinates, you have a "relation", but not a "function". A function is a special type of relation. The idea of a function is that, for every value of the independent variable (for example, "x"), the dependent variable (for example, "y") is uniquely defined. In other words, you can consider a function as a rule that assigns a y-value uniquely to every x-value.
they are used for x and y data when x doesnt really relate to y
yes bar is a measure of pressure which doesnt change for different gases
if u like doesnt like wht u did u can go on flie n erase it
Independent Variable
The frequency doesn't change as it is dependent only on the source.
When you dont have a control in an experiment , there is no basis of comparrison. A proper experiment , has an independent variable - purposefully changed - a dependent variable - measured result - a constant (that ones kind of obvious), and a control . When an experiment doesnt have a control , its also harder to draw conclusion. With a control , you have something to base your hypothesis on . If this doesnt help , try checking your textbook or search experimental design on google or ask.com.
Yes, in fact it doesnt melt. The salt goes through the ice, then make little holes in the ice.
the sun because the moon doesnt make its own light
It means that the dependent variable and all its derivatives are multiplied by constants only, not by themselves nor by functions containing the independent variable.. For example, (dy/dx) + xy = 0 is non-linear but (dy/dx) + y = (x^2)coswx is linear. (Note that it doesnt matter how the function of the independent variable is)
doesnt mean a thing to me, unless it does to you.

the color of your tongue generally doesnt change. but the cotton mouth associated with marijuana will give it a dried out appearance sometimes with a thick coat of white saliva.
