1 lb for small 3 lbs for medium and usually 4-6 lbs for large, they will say on the package depending on which ones you buy
On the 3M Command website it says that you may use these products on metal which would include most lockers. However, I would be sure to take the off a week or so before school ends. This would allow any problems in taking these off, such as the strip breaking, to be resolved.
