Ok not sure if triangles was what you were looking for but if not then I can offer you a bit more information.

Not sure how a triangle constitutes a medium but media is the plural form of medium which is pretty much what you are using to create a piece of art.

Film

Just for further clarification the art medium for 3D art is Sculpture.
