Yes it would Even + even = even Even + odd = odd Odd + odd = even
because... odd+odd=even even+odd=odd e.g 1+1+1=3 odd+odd+odd=odd
odd. odd=odd odd+odd=even odd+odd+odd=odd it keeps alternating in that fashion
The odd pages are just the pages that don't have even numbers... every other one. So, pages 2 and 4 are even, and pages 3 and 5 would be odd pages, because they are numbered with odd numbers. :) You could also say that pages are odd if there is something odd about them, for instance size or printer errors. But in general when someone says "odd pages" they will mean the odd numbered ones.

When you print from Excel, instead of just clicking the print button, select print and click on the printer PROPERTIES button. If your printer has the ability to selectively print odd or even pages, you will select that option according to your printer's specifications.

For example, sometimes the name of the book might be on one and the name of the chapter on the other. As another example, you might have the page numbers in the opposite bottom corners on odd and even pages, so that they are always away from the binding. In some documents, formatting is different on odd and even pages.
