Ummmm.. x2 = 5x - 6 = 0 is not a valid equation. You have one too many equals signs in there.

Perhaps you meant:

x2 = 5x - 6

In which case you can find it's roots like so:

x2 - 5x + 6 = 0

x2 - 2x - 3x + 6 = 0

x(x - 2) - 3(x - 2) = 0

(x - 3)(x - 2) = 0

So x would equal 2 or three.
