tactfulness is speaking to others in the same way you would like someone to speak to you. This takes one to stop and reflect before they speak. One will still want to say what needs to be said, but reflect on it first. Does it really need to be said? Is it really true? If someone had to tell you this how would you prefer they say it to you. And last and most important, do you or have you ever done the same thing. If so you may choose to fix yourself before you try and fix others.
