It's hard to put exact odds on it but the 5 seed has beat the 12 team over 67 % of the time over the last 100+ games. But as far back as I can remember (5+ years) at least one 12 has beaten a 5 seed. Over the past 20 matchups 5 seeds are only 11-9 against the 12.

When you fill out your bracket I highly suggest picking at least one 12 seed, possibly 2. As with all brackets though favorites are favorites for a reason, and don't be surprised if the underdog doesn't win every time.
