Even if you assume it is rectangular, the area of the room does not provide enough information.

Let L be any number greater than (or equal to) 10. And let B = 100/L.

Then a room which is L ft x B ft has an area of L*(100/L) = 100 square feet.

Since the choice of L is arbitrary there are infinitely many choices for L and so infinitely many possible answers to the question.
