Hi, this is the first time I have answered here...

But - It was a Thursday!

Mon - Tues - Wed - Thurs - Fri - Sat - Sun

2011 - 15/04 will land on a Fri

2010 - 15/04 landed on a Thursday

2009 - 15/04 landed on a Wednesday

2008 - 15/04 landed on a Tuesday

2007 - 15/04 landed on a Sun

2006 - 15/04 landed on a Sat

Every year you count forward - The date will be 1 day of the week further from the current year. HOWEVER - Taking in to account leap years (every forth year) this means that every fourth year will have the day of the week moved 2 spots forward...

Example:

Mon = 1

Tues = 2

Wed = 3

Thurs = 4

Fri = 5

Sat = 6

Sun = 7

Currently 15/04/2010 is on a Thursday "4"

Next year, 15/04/2011 will = "5"

15/04/2012 will ="7" - We have gone 2 days in advance due to the leap year!

2013 = 1 (mon)

2014 = 2 (tues)

2015 = 3 (wed)

2016 = 4 (thurs)

2017 = 6 (sat)

2018 = 7 (sun)

and so on...

SO - counting backwards and taking in to account the leap years - you will end up with 15/04/1965 landing on a THURSDAY :)
