"Floorboards" are tongue and grooved wooden planks that are used to make wooden floors.
Confidence intervals may be calculated for any statistics, but the most common statistics for which CI's are computed are mean, proportion and standard deviation. I have include a link, which contains a worked out example for the confidence interval of a mean.
Confidence intervals represent a specific probability that the "true" mean of a data set falls within a given range. The given range is based off of the experimental mean.
if the confidence interval is 24.4 to 38.0 than the average is the exact middle: 31.2, and the margin of error is 6.8
What percentage of times will the mean (population proportion) not be found within the confidence interval?
This is what i was told they were in my speech class. I hope it's what you were talking about. Content Organization Notes Friendliness Impression Dedication Empathy Newness Conviction Enthusiasm
6.63*10^-34
The confidence interval is not directly related to the mean.

One way is this:Many factory machines require that the margin of error be within a certain range.Suppose that one factory, which cuts wood into planks 10 centimeters long, has a margin of error of 2 millimeters. This would mean that the planks could be, at a minimum, 9.9 centimeters, and, at a maximum, 10.1 centimeters.Absolute value would be used to determine whether the machines can cut the planks within the factory's limit. This, overall, could save you time- instead of having to measure each plank- and money- obviously people would not be happy if their planks were not aligning correctly!
If you mean Wooden Planks, Then you easily just put regular wood into a crafting grid.
Cooking planks usually refer to planks of untreated wood used in the oven as opposed to grilling planks that...as you'd expect you use on the grill or barb-be-que. Cooking planks and grilling planks are, in some quarters seen as the same term see www.superiorplanks. com, but I believe that cooking planks are generally thicker and used exclusively in the oven. Cooking planks can, depending on species, be used many more times than grilling planks....have used mine countless times and although it looks like it has beend used many times it will be used many times still. Trust this, at least partially, answeres your question.
No, it is not. A 99% confidence interval would be wider. Best regards, NS
