Do the positives in efficiency outweigh the negatives?

that depends on how efficient and what the effects are. There is no clear answer and is considered debatable. I may had left you with more questions than answers, but I think it will suffice.

Positives and negatives of christopher Columbus trips?

I think the positive is that they found new lands (for them), i.e. America to explore. The negatives are his participation in slavery, the spreading of disease, the dislocation and death of hundreds of thousands of American Indians. The hundreds of lies we were taught growing up about how Columbus was the first to discover America and that relations between Columbus and "Native" Americans was a great symbiotic relationship... Sorry, could not think of too many positives because there are not many.

How do you explain positive and negative numbers on a number line?

I'm not sure of what you mean but I might have an idea. You can think of negative as money such as I owed you $5 so I would be at -5 but when I payed you back I would be at 0, but if I payed you a dollar extra you would be at -1 [ do you understand:(]Positive is very simple it is how you learned to count. When you have 2 positives or two negatives you go up towards the positives, but if you ave a positive and a negative you go down towards the negativesHope this works

What is -24t plus t?

-24t + t = -23t I am a math tutor at my college... when working with negatives think of it as money... Scenario: your in debt for 24 dollars (meaning your in the negatives). then you add a dollar to your account... your still in the negatives right? but in less debt now...

How do put integers inorder from least to greatest?

I'm making up something random but this could be your question: Put 5, -3, 0, -6, and 1 in order from least to greatest.....this would be your answer: -6, -3, 0, 1, 5......... My method is, if it's a positive number the bigger the number, the GREATER the value zero is always in the middle of negatives and positives! So with the negatives I always think, if you draw a number line like this: l---l---l---l---l and lable the numbers, the numbers closest to 0, are the numbers closer to 0 which is getting near the positives ......so I basically get the negative number and cover up the negative sign and say, ok thats a big number, then uncover the 0 and that number is MORE negative than a smaller number with the negative sign
