No. They're equal volumes.
3qts or 2.8l
3qts. 75W-90
Six pints @two pints per quart.
1gal = 4qts 11qts = 1gal/4qts = 2.75gal = 2gal and 3qts
just a tad under 3qts. 2.4-2.9qts, to be most accurate.
The 149 cc Kohler engine on my lawn mower takes ( 20 ounces / 600 ml )
oil 5qts 10/40 tranny 3qts mercon dex sinthetic if you have the cash rearend 3 qts 90 weight
If the engine holds 5 qts and you are 3 qts low, that leaves 2 qts, yes, you will harm the engine if you run it.
No, only because there are about 3.84L in a gallonThat is not what the question asked. It has nothing to do with litres.There are 4 quarts in a gallon.So 3 quarts are less than a gallon ( 3qts = 3/4 = 0.75 gal.)
I have a 1974 cb450 and it calls for 10w40 oil 3qts. yours should be the same . Use motorcycle oil as it is designed for the higher engine temperatures. Pure synthetic bike oil is not recommended as it leaks out more easily and can cause clutch slippage.
