well 6 with an exponent of one would look like a regular number 6, but on the top right it has a 1. not 61. a six and a one.
all the exponent means, is to multiply that big number as many times as the little number says.
for example: 10 with an exponent of 2 (most commonly said as "10 to the second power or 10 squared) would be ten times ten.
^^^^^^^
TEN, MULTIPLED BY ITSSELF AS MANY TIMES AS THE LITTLE NUMBER SAYS SO.
i hope this helped, in any way. u seem like a small child needing help with math :)
That depends by what you mean by "with an exponent". If you meant an exponent as in "to the power of" then 6 ** 2 = 6 * 6 = 36 If you meant the exponent in scientific notation then 6E2 = 6 * 10 ** 2 = 600
It is: -6-1 = -1/6
19
6^1
6-3 =1/63 =1/216
9
Any number with an exponent of zero is equal to one. 60 = 1
8
-6^-2 = 1/36
The two are related. The answer could be base 2, exponent 18 or base 8, exponent 6 or base 10, exponent 5.4185 or base 262144, exponent 1 or base 68,719,476,736 and exponent 0.5
A negative exponent is the reciprocal of the corresponding positive exponent. 102 = 100 10-2 = 1/100
10 with an exponent of -6 = 4
