kama sutra _ n. In Sanskrit literature, a treatise on love and sexual technique

Kama

"love"

Sutra

"series of aphorisms," 1801, from Sanskrit sutram "rule," lit. "string, thread" (as a measure of straightness), from sivyati "sew;" cognate with Latin suere "to sew". Applied to rules of grammar, law, philosophy, etc., along with their commentaries.

In Hindu Mythology, Kama Sutra is a treatise where various techniques of loves and sex have been explained with picture movements. The various sexual poses and movements are inscribed on various temple walls all over India. It proves that peoples thousand of years back were well acquainted with sexual education.
