When a triangular prism is unfolded, it forms a flat shape resembling a net composed of two triangular faces and three rectangular faces. The two triangles are positioned at opposite ends, while the rectangles connect the corresponding sides of the triangles. The overall layout looks somewhat like a combination of a triangle and three adjoining rectangles, creating a shape that can be folded back into the original prism.
An oblique prism looks slanted.
thigs that look like a rectangular prism brick and klenex box - thank you :0)

An octagonal prism has two parallel faces that are octagons and parallelograms connecting them. A rectangular prism is like a box.
a triangular prism has a triangle for the bottom and has 3 faces like a pyramid

A parallelogram prism (or parallelpiped) is a 3D parallelogram, so it looks like a cuboid pushed to the side.
A prism is anything geometric figure with three dimensions. There is no regular "prism", unfortunatly. A prism needs something to describe it. A sphere, a rectangular prism, a cube, etc...
It can look like anything really but the 2 sides (the base) is what really matters...e.g.. If the 2 sides are a triangle then it will be called a triangular prism. It will look like one very LONG triangle. If the 2 sides were hexagons then it will be called a hexagonal prism and it will look like a very LONG hexagon. All prisms are 3D.
Take a look at this link...http://www.korthalsaltes.com/foto/prism/rhombic_oblique_prism_01.jpgIt is called a Rhombic Prism
