Umm.. I'm not that sure if I understand what you're asking but in math, the mean means the average.

So for example, if you have to find the mean of 35, 46, 64, and 324, you would have to add all of them together and divide it by 4 since there are 4 numbers that you have to add.

35 + 46 + 64 + 324 = 469

469 divided by 4 = 117.25

So 117.25 would be the mean or average.
