Bring the values to the simplest form. (that's what solving means)

example. 5x - 4*2 < 6*5 +7

PEMDAS 5x - (8) < (30) +7

move the 8 to the other side;

-8 < 30 add the opposite, so 30 + 8 (and 7 also)

5x < 45

divide both by 5

1x < 9 (1x and x mean the same thing)

x < 9
