Usually this is about parallel lins and transversals.
Imagine 2 horizontal lines which are parallel.
Now imagine a transverse line from uper left to lower right crossing thru the two parallel lines.
This makes 8 angles. The top line and the transversal create an angle on the upper right. So does the lower line and the transversal. These are on the same side of the transrevsal.
They follow one another such as consecutive or coresponding angles
Same side interior angles are congruent to their vertical angles.
same side angles add upt to 180 degrees.
Coterminal Angles are two angles in standard position with the same terminal side.
Adjacent angles.

they are the opposite of same side interior angles
Same side interior angles are congruent to their vertical angles.
definition of same side interior angles
They are angles that lie on the same side of the transversal outside the lines named.
Same-side interior angles are supplementary. They are not always congruent, but in a regular polygon adjacent angles are congruent.
same side angles add upt to 180 degrees.
Coinciding angles.
Corresponding and alternate angles
Coterminal Angles are two angles in standard position with the same terminal side.
Adjacent angles are angles that have the same vertex (corner) and share a common side.
Two angles of a polygon that have a common side.
