I think you mean "mode." The mode in math is simple. When there's a group of numbers, the mode appears most often. How I remember is the "M" and the "O" in "mode" stand for "Most Often." :)
Example :
42, 45, 45, 48, 49, 65, 92
The mode is 45.
Note: There can be more than one mode or there can be no mode at all.
Good luck! :)

The mood is that the person is rude(mean mood)
it could mean he is in a bad mood or distressed with what is happening
I think you might be asking about the mode. In any given set, the mode is the number that appears most often. If no number appears more frequently than any other, there is no mode. It is also possible to have more than one mode. Ex. (10, 17, 20, 45, 68) This set has no mode. The mood is how you feel about math.
it is a happy feeling inside
On a mood ring it means happy.

emotionfeelingBy the way, these are the only possibilities that I think mean mood!
In my own opinion, I would say that math teachers are mean because either they are irritated because students aren't listening to them, or because they are in a bad mood, or even because they dislike a pupil. However, the most likely one is that because they are annoyed at some students who are talking or not paying attention.
If you mean the word "mood" then it has only one syllable.
That he was in a good mood...
