"in science" doesn't really make sense for your question.

a calorie is a unit of energy - although "in science" the unit of Joule is much more common. calories are the preferred units when used in nutrition, however.

often when calories are being measured, the unit if kilocalories (kcal) is preferred, which is 1000 calories.

this would make your figure 1000 kcals.

technically you could call it a "megacalorie" but this is not common usage.
