A side measure typically refers to a quantitative assessment of a side or aspect of a particular subject, often used in various fields like mathematics, economics, or statistics. In geometry, it may pertain to the length or area of a side of a shape. In broader contexts, it can denote metrics used to evaluate performance or characteristics of a system or entity. Essentially, it provides a way to gauge and compare specific dimensions or aspects.
Side-Angle-Side. It's a means to test for congruence between two triangles. If you can match the length of a side, the measure of the angle between that side and another side, and the length of that second side, then you have proven the triangles to be congruent.
No, the mean does not always have half of the observations on either side of it. The mean is a measure of central tendency that can be influenced by extreme values, leading to a skewed distribution where more observations may fall on one side of the mean than the other. In a perfectly symmetrical distribution, the mean would be at the center, with an equal number of observations on either side, but this is not the case for skewed distributions.

Width does mean side to side.
Length and width define two dimensions, like a piece of paper has a length distance measure along one side and a width distance measure on the other side. In three dimensions there is length and width and height, like a solid brick or block
On the measuring side, they would be fractional sizes of each inch. (US measurement)

If you mean the area is 2304cm2 then the sides measure 48cm

You can take a tape measure from the out side and measure it from side to side and from bottom to top so you have a even measurement so it will look even when you are done.
you measure the computer screen diagonally, so if you have a 17" computer screen, and you measure it straight from side to side, then its not 17". You have to measure diagonally. I.e. Top left coner of the screen ( do not include the housing) to the bottom right side of the screen

Measure from the wall behind the toilet to the center of one of the closet. In small bathrooms where space is tight, also measure from the walls side to side.
