A "mean" in math is the average of a set of numbers.
For example, lets say you are given the numbers: 8, 2, 13, 5, and 5.
To find the mean, you add all of the numbers together and divide by the amount of numbers there are (in this case 5).
8+2+13+5+5= 6.6 which is your mean.

"Central tendency" is a phrase comprising TWO words, it is not a word. Central tendency refers to the tendency of some data sets to collect around their middle value.
There is no such math word, so it does not mean anything. You may wish to check your spelling before posting questions!
