Continental drift :)
recorrective vergence movement
Depends on what you mean. If you mean feet/sec, it's already a movement speed. if it's frames per second, it depends on how large the frame was as well as how many frames the object is present in the frame.
The Olympic flag has a white background, with five interlaced rings in the center: blue, yellow, black, green and red. This design is symbolic and represents the five inhabited continents of the world, united by Olympic competition, while the six colors are those that appear on all the national flags of the world at the present time.
The present participle is arising.

The present shapes of the continents don't fit perfectly into a supercontinent because the Earth's tectonic plates are constantly moving due to the process of plate tectonics. This movement causes the continents to drift apart or collide, leading to the current configuration of the continents that no longer resemble a single supercontinent like Pangaea.

the Hypothesis is Based on an apparent fit between Africa and South America,Wegener hypothesized that at one time all continents were joined together in a "supercontinent" called Pangaea. The supercontinent eventually broke into the smaller continents, which then "drifted" towards their present positions.
Continents and tectonic plates drifted to their present positions due to the process of plate tectonics. This movement is driven by the slow shifting of the Earth's lithosphere on the more fluid asthenosphere beneath it. The movement of these plates over millions of years has resulted in the present configuration of the continents and ocean basins.
It's called the Continental Drift but scientists changed it to Plate Tectonics in 1960.
The reason is because of glacial desposits. The other reason is because of ice bergs and continental drift.
Continental drift :)
The present shape of the continents does not fit perfectly into the shape of a supercontinent because the Earth's tectonic plates are constantly moving. These movements are driven by processes like plate tectonics and convection currents in the mantle, causing the continents to drift apart, collide, and rearrange over millions of years. This results in the continents having different shapes and positions compared to when they were part of a single supercontinent like Pangaea.
The continents are currently in their present shapes due to the movement of tectonic plates over millions of years. The Earth's surface is divided into several major plates that are constantly shifting, causing the continents to move and change position. This movement, known as plate tectonics, is responsible for the current shapes and positions of the continents.
