2x2x4 = 16
how much dirt is in a 16 inch hole
3-1=2 then 2x2x4=16.
2x2x4 / 231 = 0.069264... gal ≈ 0.069 gal
2 cups in a pint 2 pints in a quart 2x2x4= 16 cups
[ONLY WORKS FOR REGULAR PENTAGONS] I don't the exact formula, BUT, from what I learned in Geometry last year, I remember that if you have the radius from the center perpendicular to a side [for height] and if you have the length of the side of the pentagon, you can use a simple 1/2 times base time height to get 1/5th of the area. Then you just take that and multiply it by 5 to get the area of the whole pentagon. I know it looks complicated, but it's pretty simple: I have a REGULAR pentagon that I chop into 5 triangles I have the height = 2 I have the base [or the length of 1 side of the pentagon]= 4 1/2xbasexheight= 1/2x2x4= 4 So now you have the area of 1 triangle and multiply by 5 4x5= 20 your pentagon is 20 units squared. I hope this helped.
The simple answer is - a whole lot! But if you want to know how much glitter to purchase to fill an iPad box, you'll need to do some math.First, decide what kind of glitter you'll be using. Larger flakes of glitter stack less densely than fine glitter - meaning you'll need less glitter if you use larger flakes. If you use sequins or glitter confetti flakes, you won't need as much glitter to fill the box.Second, measure the inside of the box. You'll want to measure the length, the width, and the depth of the box. Multiply these together. Length x width x height = the cubic inches of space inside the box.Third, measure the packaging that your glitter comes in. Small containers of glitter might come in a 1x1x2" tube. You can purchase larger containers that are 2x2x4". Make sure to only measure only the portion of the package that is filled with glitter. Multiply the length, width, and height of the container to determine how many cubic inches of glitter are in the container.Now take your first measurement (the cubic inches in the package), and divide it by the second measurement (the cubic inches in a package of glitter). The number you get will tell you how many packages of glitter you need to purchase to fill the iPad box. If the number you get is not a whole number, round up to ensure you purchase enough glitter.
