That depends on what the tax is. Multiply the price by 1 plus the decimal equivalent of the tax. If the tax is 8%, 14.00 x 1.08 = 15.12

Pressumably that would be for something you buy. It means that you add the 14 dollars, which is the sales price, to whatever is added as the sales tax.
