To find this answer, find the LCD. (Lowest common denominator)

The current denominators are 6, and 10.

The multiples of 6 are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, etc...

The multiples of 10 are 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc...

Notice that both numbers have 30 as a multiple. This is your LCD. You will now use this number as your new denominator.

But first, because 6x5=30, you have you multiply the numerator by 5 as well. 1x5=5.

Because 10x3=30, you must multiply its numerator by 3. 3x3=9.

Your new numbers are 5/30 and 9/30.

From here, you can just add the numerators. 5+9= ?

Hint... it's 14. :)

The answer is 14/30. But this number can be reduced to 7/15.

Hope this helped. :)
