Equivalent fractions can be found by multiplying both the numerator (number on top) and denominator (number on the bottom) by the same number.

For example, if you multiply 2/3 by 2, you get the equivalent fraction 4/6.

Other examples are 6/9, 8/12, 10/15, 20/30 and so on.
