One of the easiest ways of doing multiplications is thinking of it as fast addition. Instead of looking at it as 3 multiplied by 6, think of it as 6+6+6.
For example:
3+3+3+3+3+3= 18
6+6+6= 18
3x6= 18
6 multiplied by 3/4 is 4.5
The numbers that can be multiplied to make 6 are 1 and 6, or 2 and 3.
