Business Operating System chart
This is a method to show the current performance and trending of a situation within the company for a special area of concern. Originally the chart was used to report Quality rejects in parts per million (PPM) however, the chart can be adapted to calculate any business performance measure; KPI - Key Performance Indicator.
Mostly there is a special kind of graphic used that is separated into 4 quarters (e.g. problem category analysis, overall trend graph, pareto analysis and issues identified causing the poor performance and corrective actions).
