by jumping of a curb
The problem it the loose nut behind the wheel. As a temporary repair, replace the tire and rim that hit the curb.
Balance and practice. If your circle is to the left scoot your butt to the right of the seat, maintain enough speed to keep yourself upright and looking in to where the center of the circle would be start a tight slow turn. The trick is to keep your speed and sharpness of turn constant until you are ready to straighten out.Know your bike, know your clutch. With practice, on the right bike, you could do a figure of eight in a parking space. On a narrow street or a parking lot, practice walking your bike through turns. If you can walk it round, you can ride it round. Then it's as above. Check all around that you are clear to turn. Set your front wheel and shift your body weight until your inside arm is nearly straight (makes sure you have shifted far enough and leaves some movement for fine correction), look as far round the turn as you can (you will naturally steer where you look so don't look at the curb or drain covers). Revs up, slip the clutchand use the back brake to control the speed. Do not touch the front brake under any circumstances.

it is called angle parking
The parking maneuver that is used when the parking space is at a 90-degree angle to the curb is perpendicular parking. the car should be in the center of the space and the wheel should be turned straight.
When your parking downhill you always turn the wheel to the right no matter if there is a curb or not. When your parking uphill you turn the wheel to the right if there is NO curb. If there is a curb you turn the wheel to the left. Hope it helped.
When parking uphill with a curb, turn the back of wheels
When parking uphill on a street with no curb, the front wheels should be positioned to the right. If there is a curb, the back of the right front wheel should be turned against the curb.
Palmdale, CA says you need to be within a foot and a half (18")22502(a) CVC - Curb Parking. Every vehicle parked at a curb where two-way traffic is permitted must be stopped or parked with the right hand wheels parallel to and within 18 inches of the curb. Where no curbs are present, right hand parallel parking is required, unless otherwise indicated by signs or other markings. Prohibited would be parking with the LEFT side wheels to the curb or parking at an angle to the roadway on the unpaved shoulder of a street.I presume it is the same for most places in California.
