To be honest you will have a hard time cleaning burnt rubber from carpet; I own a maid and cleaning service and know of no substance that can pull this off. If the burn is in an isolated area (one room, hallway etc...) you may need to replace the carpet in that area. Depending on the age of the carpet you may not get the exact same carpet (dye-lot) as the original; but you can use a transition piece to lessen any difference in appearance than your original carpet (assuming it is still manufactured).
For a large area, remove the carpet from the vehicle, clean with a good carpet cleaner, allow to dry thoroughly, reinstall carpet. For a small area, clean with a good carpet cleaner and allow to dry thoroughly.
