15.5 percent = 155/1000 = 31/200
10% = 8.8, 5% = half of that, add them together: 13.2
10% is 38.4; 5%, ie half of that, is 19.2 so add those up and you get 15%...
Ten percent of this number is 2450, and half of that is 1225, and so adding these two numbers will give you fifteen percent, which in this case is 3675.
15% = 10% + 5%; 10% of 19 = 1.9 and 5% is half of that so 15% = 1.9 + 0.95 ie 2.85
Half of it
15.5 percent = 155/1000 = 31/200
50/100 x 30/100 = 15%
50%, since 15 is half of 30 (and 1/2 = 0.5 = 50%).
It's half of 30 which is 15 metres.

It depends on the problem. For instance, put simply, in a class of thirty children, if half had packed lunches, what percent is that? Half of 30 means that 15 children would be half or 50% of the whole class.
The answer to two and a half percent is easy. Simply find one percent, double it to get two percent and then half one percent to find the half. Put them together and you have two and a half percent.
It is a quarter of a percent
