Your approach to this sort of problem is first to convert the data into it lowest fractional form. (Which it is already in this case.)
Next, find the lowest common multiple of the denominators.
6/10 and 3/8 have the lowest multiple of their denominators = 1/40.
Remember the denominator is the bit on the bottom.
So multiplying the fractions so they both have their denominator as 40.
This gives us 6/10 = 24/40 and 3/8 = 15/40.
You should find it easy to decide which of these new fractions is the larger.
3/6. 3/6 reduces to 1/2 while 2/8 reduces to 1/4.
Converting them both to decimal form:8/10 = 0.8; 6/8 = 0.75. From that it's obvious which is larger.
That depends what there are three eighths of.
3/8+3/8= 6/8= 3/4
3/8 = 0.3751/6 = 0.167 ...Three eights is over twice that sizeof one sixth!
3/6. 3/6 reduces to 1/2 while 2/8 reduces to 1/4.
no 6/10= 3/5. 5/8= 5/8 Find common denominator 24/40 25/40 5/8 is larger.
Converting them both to decimal form:8/10 = 0.8; 6/8 = 0.75. From that it's obvious which is larger.

That depends what there are three eighths of.
6 tenths is larger than 45 hundredths. (0.6 to 0.45, respectively.)
3/8+3/8= 6/8= 3/4
The answer is... 6
6/16
6/8 = 3/4
You find the common denominator, with is over 80, so multiply 3 by 10, and 6 by 8. This gives you 30/80 and 48/80, so six tenths is bigger. An easier way to look at this is, 4 eigths is half, 5 tenths is half, 3 eigths is lower than 4 eigths, but six tenths is bigger then 5 tenths. Hope this helped. :)
3/8 = 0.3751/6 = 0.167 ...Three eights is over twice that sizeof one sixth!
