a liter means a unit of volume
I'm positive it stands for liters :) hoped that helped
it mean million milli is the prefix for one thousandth. the meter is the SI unit of length. the millimeter is one thousandth of a meter, or 1000 mm = 1 meter there are 1000 milliliters in one liter. 1000 mL = 1 Liter
I assume that with "capacity" you mean the measurement that is officially known as "volume". The standard unit of volume is the cubic meter. The liter (1/1000 of a cubic meter) and the milliliter = cubic centimeter (1/1000 of a liter) are also often used.
a liter
a liter means a unit of volume
1/1000th of a liter
1/1000th of a liter, liquid measurement.
Well, isn't that a happy little question! If you have bottles that are 50cl each, you would need 2 of them to fill up 1 liter. You see, 1 liter is equal to 100cl, so two 50cl bottles would be just the ticket to make a full liter. Just remember, there are no mistakes, just happy little accidents!
One liter equals to 1,000 milliliters. This is taught in math.
Meter, liter, millimeter, milliliter, centimeter.

Well if there are eight in a liter than do the math that means one dies in every liter
1 milliter = 1/1000 of a liter so you do the math
If you know what "milli..." means, then you know it right away. Otherwise you look it up once, and then you know it for good. There is no math involved.
There are 1000 milliliters in a liter. You do the math and better learn how to spell too :)
That would obviously depend on how big the glass you are using is. Do the math!
