For an integral sequence the next number is 6 (add 5 subtract 7 pattern).
10

5
10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 0, -2, -4
The pattern is +5, +6, +7, so the next number will be 23 + 8 or 31.
1+10 - 2 (2 is one less than 3, the next answer in the sequence) = 9. 10 + 3 - 8 (8 is one less than 9) = 5 3 + 9 - 4 = 8 etc...; so the next two numbers in the sequence will be 11 and 5.
The next number in the sequence will be 56.
18. The pattern is add 5, then subtract 1.
Could be 26 again: 16 = 3*5+1 26 = 5*5+1 21 = 4*5+1 31 = 6*5+1 so I thought the sequence could be n*(5+1) and the sequence of n: 3,5,4,6,5,7,6,8,... add two subtract one etc. Simpler put it could be 10+6, 20+6, 10+11, 20+11, the next answer being 10+16 -26.
8. The sequence is +5, -4, +3, -2, +1. 5 + 5 = 10 10 - 4 = 6 6 + 3 = 9 9 - 2 = 7 7 + 1 = 8
