The Numeric Processing Unit is a specialized version of a CPU, it can ONLY preform math operations, but does them at a much faster rate than the CPU. Because it is directly controlled by the CPU the NPU does not have ANY address selection ability. Therefore , it has NO connection to the address bus.

(Note hte direct connection to the CPU , in modern systems the NPU is physically part of the CPU).

Where is numeric data stored in for direct processing?

Numeric data for direct processing is typically stored in memory, specifically in RAM (Random Access Memory), which allows for quick access and manipulation by the CPU. It can also be stored in databases or data warehouses for structured access and retrieval, or in flat files for simpler datasets. In modern computing, data may also reside in cloud storage solutions, enabling processing across distributed systems.

What is numeric value of 16000 pesos?

The numeric value? The first answer would be that 16000 pesos is a quantity, not a number. Another way to answer this question is to say that the numeric vale is 16,000 and pesos is the unit. ... The following is probably not what you're after, but: 16,000 is in standard form. sixteen thousand is in word form. 10000 + 6000 is in expanded form.

What do you mean by This field can only contain numeric values?

The phrase "This field can only contain numeric values" means that the input for that specific field is restricted to numbers only, such as integers or decimals. Any non-numeric characters, such as letters or symbols, would result in an error or rejection of the input. This restriction ensures that the data entered is appropriate for calculations or processing that require numerical input.
