way to much oil oil is getting into the clylinders but not burned off causing a flow out the exaust pipe can cause issues if not repaired could blow engine as well generally when your car is running oil out the exaust its got a blue hue to it check and make sure its oil as cars do condesate and water does drip from the exaust
It could be that the condesate drain line has been connected to the wastewater/blackwater stack. The trap (hopefully installed) preventing sewer gas from moving up the condensate line may have dried out. If dry, sewer gasses are no longer blocked by the hydraulic seal... resulting in a nasty smell when the unit is turned on and the fan kicks in. Just a thought.

You can heat the water using fractional distillation and heat the mixture such that it evaporates. in the fractionating column, cold water can be hosed in to condense the water. the column leads to a beaker where there will be clear or rather clear water. do this a few more times to improve purity (though may not be by much)
