Spondylosis is a general term for arthritic breakdown of the intervertebral joints and spinal discs and is characterized by abnormal bone growth and progressive loss of the normal structure of spinal discs, or disc degeneration.
In severe cases of cervical spondylosis, where there is loss of function or sensation due to significant spinal cord compression and damage, surgery may be needed. At surgery, abnormal bone growths and Arthritis compressing the spinal cord are removed and the spine may need to be fused along one or more vertebrae in order to restore stability and prevent future problems.

Four - zeros between significant digits are significant.
0.007 has one significant figure. The 7 is significant because all non-zero numbers are always significant. The leading zeroes are not significant.
Only one of them is significant. The leading zero (zero to the left) is not significant. The trailing zero (rightmost) is significant. To recap, only the zero following the seven is significant. See the related links for a really good article on significant digits.

Cervical spondylosis refers to spondylosis of the cervical vertebrae (Bones of the spine in the region of the neck). Spondylosis refers to changes occurring in the bones ultimately resulting in compression of the nerve roots passing through these regions. The result of the nerve compression is determined by the specific nerve that is compressed. Common features include sharp pain radiating down the region of the upper limb supplied by the specific nerve root affected. Cervical spondylosis is common in older population. It is often due to osteoarthritis resulting in osteophyte formation (abnormal new bone growth) and these osteophytes result in the nerve compression.
