However, if the track is banked, this will reduce the severity of forces acting upon the vehicle and reduce the amount of traction required to hold the car in a turn, resulting in less braking required, thus, higher speeds throughout the entire turn. Since a toy car does not have brakes, it cannot slow down, and if the turn is too tight and not banked, the toy car will simply fly off the track because of the under-steering phenomenon.
