∙ 12y agoIt is 112 square inches.
The area of a triangle is 1/2 times the base times the height. Thus, (0.5)(28)(8) = 112. Note that you can make this a little easier to do mentally if you see that one of the numbers is divisible by two (i.e. even). Because multiplication by 1/2 is equivalent to division by 2, and order doesn't matter for multiplication, you can multiply half of the even number times the other and get the same result. Of course, if both of the numbers are even, you can still only do this to one of them, so pick whichever makes the problem easier.

∙ 12y agoFormula: Area of triangle= 1/2 * base * height Therefore 42 (area of triangle) = 1/2 * 6 (base) * height 42 = 3 * height 42/3 = (3 * height)/3 14 = height Therefore, the height of triangle is 14 inches
Area of a triangle = 1/2*base*height Area = 14 square inches
4 inches Area= 1/2(base)(height)
Use the formula for the area of a triangle. The area is 1/2 x base x height.
Formula for area of a triangle= base x height÷ 2 so...area=7x24÷2area=168÷2area=84
30 square inches. Area of triangle = (base x height) divided by 2.
The area of triangle is : 340.0
The area of triangle is : 82.5
The area of triangle is : 14.0
The area of triangle is : 29.400000000000002
The area of triangle is : 35.0
Formula: Area of triangle= 1/2 * base * height Therefore 42 (area of triangle) = 1/2 * 6 (base) * height 42 = 3 * height 42/3 = (3 * height)/3 14 = height Therefore, the height of triangle is 14 inches
area of a triangle = .5 * base * height In this case .5 * 9 * 14 = 63 square inches
The area of a triangle with a height of 3' and and a base of 32 inches is 3.99 sq. ft. sumit.
Area of a triangle = 1/2*base*height Area = 14 square inches
4 inches Area= 1/2(base)(height)
The area of any triangle is HALF the base times the [vertical] height, so the area of your triangle is: (5 x 10)/2 = 25 (square inches)
