Averaging all types of bowlers and leagues, a good guess is 150-160 for men bowlers and 130-140 for women. That would really depend on what you are comparing. For instance, the above answer might be good for your local mixed league or just general open play bowling. However if your were in a more competitive league either mixed, or same sex, the average scores would be much higher. The age/experience of the bowlers in question would also affect the outcome.
The average score on an IQ test is about 100. If you score higher than that, your score will be above average.
The average IQ score is ALWAYS 100.
The average IQ score for a 12 year old is 100. Then again, the average IQ score for all age groups are 100, by definition.
149
USBC membership is roughly 1.2 million in the 2015/16 bowling season.
Add all 4 scores together. Then divide by 4 (the number of bowlers) the number will be their average score.
136.75
Well, 128.75 is the average. Its estimated to 130... but why'd you need someone to answer it for you. Its simple math. It's Easily answerable in your head... well for me anyway... but i have an IQ of 149 which is ranked as genius.
136.25
To get the average, add the scores, then divide by 4 (since in this case there are 4 players).
The top bowlers on the PBA tour usually hold an average in the 220s. The top 100 bowlers usually average 200 or better for a complete season on the tour.
132+140+145+128 = 545 545/4 = 136.25 Answer: 136.25
Only games bowled under a sanctioned league may receive recognition by the sanctioning organization that the league sanctioned with. For example, if the league is based in the US and did not sanction in USBC then scores will not be recognized for any USBC awards, including the 300 ring. Even if bowlers who are members of a non-sanctioned league bowl a 300, they can not qualify for any USBC awards if the league did not sanction.
First, you could contact the league secretary. If this was a USBC certified league, the USBC's website at bowl.com has an average lookup feature.
136.25 The above answer is the Mean, there are other averages such as the range, median and mode if anyone can be bothered to work them out below:
It can be charactarized as both. A lot of people do it as an activity and a hobby, but the USBC (United States Bowling Congress) hosts a lot of tournaments typically for kids/teens, but they have adult leagues, as well. They also have these things called "Sport Shots" and "Patterns." It poses as a challenge for most bowlers who throw a hook of some sort because if you were to go to some random bowling alley, you would be bowling on something called a "House Shot." Sport Shots and Patterns have different oil patterns, which causes the bowling ball to react and hook differently. There are about 15 different USBC/PBA patterns. USBC and PBA (Pro Bowlers Association) uses these Patterns for local and national tournaments, which as I stated before, poses a challenge to a lot of bowlers who compete on them. Since that's the case, that could make Bowling a sport, as well as an activity.
