Then it is superior and above average, it is based on mental age divided by actual age times 100. Not same scale for all ages.
Silly as it may sound, the average age of a 10 year old is ten years
IQ is traditionally the ratio of mental age to physical age multiplied by 100. At the extremes, it's largely meaningless - an IQ of 1 would mean a 100 year old person with a mental age of 1. The average IQ (Intelligence Quotient) is between 90 - 110. So for one to have an IQ of 1 would be highly improbable.
your mental age (the age group that's average score is closest to yours in an IQ test) divided by you physical age multiplied by 100
First, you take the test. It depends on how well you answered the test. By this I mean if you answered it like a 22 year-old that is your mental age. Then, you divide your mental age by your real age, next, you multiply that by 100.
The average IQ for a 13-year-old is around 100, which is the same as the average IQ for the general population. IQ scores are standardized by age, so a score of 100 is considered average for all age groups.
The average IQ of 100 is set by design to represent the midpoint of the IQ scale, with the majority of the population falling within one standard deviation above or below this value. This value provides a standardized reference point for comparing individuals' intelligence relative to the population.
Then it is superior and above average, it is based on mental age divided by actual age times 100. Not same scale for all ages.

The 12-year-old would be said to have an IQ of 75. This is calculated by dividing the mental age (equivalent to that of an average 9-year-old) by the chronological age (12) and multiplying by 100.
Basically it means how old your character is, for example, if a someone who was 20 had a mental age of 6 they would probably be acting like a 6 year old and have similar characteristics. Mental age is a controversial concept in psychometrics. It is an intelligence test score, expressed as the chronological age for which a given level of performance is average or typical. Hope this helps :D
Charles Paget Lapage has written: 'Feeblemindedness in children of school-age' -- subject(s): Children with mental disabilities, Exceptional children, People with mental disabilities
usually around age 6 cause they are smarter then at least if they dont have mental problems they can but if they do its at least 8 when they have mental issues
30
No age group of children were spared.
It is good for children to start school at a young age because there mental development is very rapid while development in older children is less .
a 10-year-old with a mental age of 10, therefore, has an IQ score of 100. However, if the mental score is lower than the age, it drags the IQ score down. So, if the 10-year-old's mental age is 8, their score would only be 80
